Today, Tami, Derrick and I had a SOY table at Travis HS. In addition to the Peace Wheel of Fortune, the stenciling project and the literature, we brought the chin-up bar and invited students to do pull-ups for peace. After all, peacemaking takes strength and courage! Several students took us up on the invite, and I think the record for the day was 16 in a row. That's PeaceStrong!
We appreciated talking with all students, teachers and other school staff who stopped by the table.

We added Malala to the peace wheel. One student said he had learned about her in his world history class. |

Often students think our things are for sale, so we want to reassure them that everything is free. |
